ChristianityTuesday: Tit or Tat?

Worship of God is our highest calling, second only to sharing the gospel and drawing seekers in from the highways and biways.  But what if our worship of the Creator destroys his Creation?  A delicate balance must be struck as we continue to cast off the vestiges of bygone musical eras and adorn our worship with instruments better suited to worship in the new millenia.  This issue of ChristianityTuesday explores how worship teams can reduce their energy consumption and be a green light in a dark world.

There's an ad on page 30 for bulk purchases of slide-whistles and triangles if anyone is interested.

Oh no... A very famous Fundamentalist once said something to the effect that anything that slides in music causes people to have uncontrollable pelvic gyrations! Or something like that. I wonder how the man gets through a grocery store... maybe one could catch him with a video camera cutting a rug (against his will, of course) in Walgreens as he rummages for his favorite Disney character in the toothbrush aisle.

Of course, if you're being chased by a very famous Fundamentalist, a slide whistle might be your best defense. A few swooping notes will have him doing the shuffle and you will be able to scoot to safety.

Yes, we in the violin industry call that sliding from one note to another portamento, and we have long understood its satanic purposes.

It was indeed an advance in spirituality for fundamentalists to have made this fact known to the layman.

Remonres,

I've noticed the prevalent theme of grass providing background for your cover art. This is grass that would make Texans, not unlike dissidens, envious.

Just a warning, do not display an equally luscious herb garden. Someone might just sabotage the server.
