While the earth is getting warmer, the church has gotten cooler with an increased consciousness of our worldly duty.  Each week, more christians tap into the hip and happening environmentalist sub-culture, showing seekers that the church cares.  This week's issue of ChristianityTuesday explores how a Green Church will usher in a Healthy World and outlines the responsibilities Christians have to spread the Gospel of Green.

This would be acceptable if it was published 15 years ago, but with "Green" having gone trendy, this just looks über-lame. I mean, seriously - the world looks at the church and sees us chasing them, huffing and puffing trying to keep up, wanting to be like them but falling short - it's really pathetic.

As soon as I hit send I realized it was too lame to be for real, and second that I had never heard of a 'ChristianityTuesday.' Man, now I feel über-lame for falling for a parody.
